In past millennia, the glaciers that covered the valley concealed the incisive flow of water capable of excavating the rock: it was these watercourses that created the spectacular gorge, which can only be reached from Lake St. Justina. The wild gorges of the Rio Novella are one of the most spectacular and exciting landscapes that nature has given us.

Included in the experience is a towing service by motorboat of about 20 minutes to the mouth of the gorges.
