Via ferrata “Sentiero dei fiori”
A high-altitude via ferrata, at over 3000 meters, where eagles dare.
Historical itinerary dating back to the First World War but also of great interest from a panoramic point of view.
The path runs along the trenches and trenches of the First World War. The panorama that can be admired from here ranges over the underlying Presena glacier and in the distance the Oltres – Cevedale groups, the Bernina group and the Brenta group stand out.
During the ascent there are numerous floristic species typical of high altitudes and granite terrain.
The via ferrata “Sentiero dei fiori” is a mountaineering route and therefore must be prepared and tackled as such. The safety of the activity will be guaranteed by the presence of a professional mountain guide.
The equipped route which, to date, winds from Passo Castellaccio to Passo Pisgana, follows the entrenchment route that the Alpini used during the First World War to connect the emplacements installed on the ridge.
To tackle a via ferrata at altitude, it’s important to wear appropriate clothing that ensures comfort and safety. We recommend carrying a backpack with food and water, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, gloves, layered clothing, a windproof jacket, and sturdy boots.
The price is € 90 per person with a minimum group size of 4 participants. For smaller groups, the cost for an exclusive guided outing is € 360.
Note: The ascent with the Presena cable car is planned. The ticket is not included in the experience price.
