Snowshoeing in Val di Sole
Exploring winter has never been so fascinating! Try our fantastic snowshoe excursions accompanied by the guides of Ursus Adventures.
An immersion in the snowy environment to discover the most fascinating corners of the Val di Sole in Trentino. A gentle, slow, emotionally intense activity. You will appreciate details that many people miss: the passage of the hare on the snow, the bed of a deer, the pine cones eaten by the squirrels.
You will learn very interesting notions about the area around you, the flora and fauna. Everything seems to stand still in winter but in reality life goes on, you just need to have the eyes to see it and the sensitivity to perceive it.
How does the activity take place? We start by delivering the material and technically explaining its use. The guides will introduce you to the world of walking with snowshoes, explaining how to walk with this piece of equipment that seems a bit cumbersome at first but will become functional and necessary as you continue walking.
After a short test in a very simple stretch, the adventure begins to discover the secrets of the snowy forest.
Where will we go? We don’t know yet, it depends on many factors: road conditions, weather conditions, snow cover, etc. We will surely select for you the most suitable location for you to go on a snowshoe hike in safety with your utmost appreciation. We can go to Val di Peio or Val di Rabbi in the Stelvio National Park or towards the peat bogs of the Campo Carlo Magno pass near Madonna di Campiglio. In the event of a lot of snow, we could also decide to stay a little lower, in the woods near Mezzana, Ossana or Dimaro Folgarida.
So what should you do? You can book by trusting us or call us to arrange the route and time. We are available to satisfy any of your requests, moving throughout the Val di Sole area, both for half-day and day trips.
Our excursions are carried out with small or very small groups to ensure the highest quality and safety of the experience.
