Ski Alp
Leaving one’s track on a snowy path, where you can only find the passage of a few animals: this is the true essence of ski mountaineering.
On an accompanied ski mountaineering excursion nature, slow movements, fresh air and unique panoramas await you.
The experience consists of an off-piste ascent accompanied by a professional mountain guide and then descending on the slope to the starting point. 6/7 hours of sport and wellness discovering a real, little-frequented mountain, where you can hear the sound of skiing in the snow.
After retrieving skis, boots, and poles (if you don’t have them, we can suggest affiliated rentals), the mountain guide will provide a brief lesson on the alternate step climbing system using ‘skins,’ which prevent the ski from sliding backward.
A first test on the piano and then off we go. After the ascent of a few hours (about 800 m in altitude), you reach the ski slopes from which you will then descend to the starting point.
You can choose from various available itineraries: Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida, Passo del Tonale, or Val di Peio. We will tailor the outing based on your needs and requests.
During the experience, the instructor will guarantee you maximum safety, support and will provide you with many technical, naturalistic and landscape notions.
To carry out ski mountaineering it is necessary to know how to ski sufficiently (be able to descend on a red slope) and to have a good physical preparation.
